These hourglass finger gauntlets are based on artwork and originals. They provide excellent mobility and protection. Appropriate for most of the 14th century. Shown is the more historic model for WMA. An SCA legal version with finger plates which bridge the rattan is also available (not shown) at the same price.

Simple Wisby Demi Gauntlets NEW!
These Demi Gauntlets are based on the finds from Wisby, but not upon any one gauntlet found. The battle of wisby took place in the last quarter of the 14th century. Similar to the hourglass demi gauntlets but with a simpler metacarpal plate and two piece cuff held on with leather.They provide excellent mobility and protection. Appropriate for most of the 14th century.

Hourglass Demi-Gauntlets
These 16 gauge Hourglass Demi-Gauntlets are of a design seen throughout the 14th century. Shaped knuckles make a comfortable and protective fit over the hand. Cuff wraps all the way around and thumb wraps further than what can be seen in the picture. The cuff and metacarpal plate are of welded construction. Mild Satin: $75ea

Full Wrap Rearbrace
These rearbraces (upper arm) are sold seperately. When sold unstrapped each upper arm comes in two separate pieces. When strapped, they come with one strap that goes around and a leather hinge. They wrap all the way around the upper arm and come up higher on the outside of the shoulder and lower at the armpit, as seen in a lot of 14th century artwork. Mild Satin: $50

These 16 gauge arms are loosly based on several pieces of artwork from the 14th century. Floating articulation design allows for a full range of motion as well as allowing some size adjustment without ruining the articulation. One piece vambrace wraps ¾ around the forearm and can be adjusted by pulling or pushing the sides together or apart.
