Prepaid orders
For your shopping convenience we have added a shopping cart to our site. This allows you to order directly from the site. Please check current estimated turnaround time on the front page before ordering. Prepaid orders may be refunded at any time up to the point the item has shipped. Please ask any questions you have before placing your order.
Non-prepaid orders
Non prepaid orders are available and are given the same priority as prepaid orders. If you need to cancel your order please notify us as soon as you decide to cancel. Non prepaid orders must be placed by sending an e-mail and are subject to a 6% price increase to cover the cost of increased cancellation of non-prepaid orders after order completion.
Stock items
Items listed as in-stock are actually ready to ship. Payment may not be sent for items that are not currently in-stock. Stock is constantly changing please e-mail me to verify the availability of the item(s) you wish to order. If I am out of stock you can go on the waiting list. You need to e-mail me asking to be put on the list. When I have stock I let you know and if you still want to order you do so. No money changes hands till your item is ready to ship.
Waiting List
I will maintain a no obligation waiting list for people wishing to order things which are not currently in-stock. E-mail me if you would like to be added to the waiting list. You will need to let me know what item(s) and size. When stock becomes available those on the waiting list will be sent an e-mail letting them know and will have the option to buy or not buy the item at that time. Waiting list customers are my priority. The sooner I complete your order the sooner I get paid. Completion order of the waiting list is usually in the first come first served format. Deviations are sometimes made in order to speed production.
Sizing
Dimensions of our armor are provided by clicking the 'show/hide info' button below the thumbnail picture of each item. Dimensions provided are the actual dimensions of the armor. It is up to you to determine if it will fit you or not.
Returns
I try to represent my product as accurately as possible. Returns will be accepted for refunds however shipping costs will not be refunded and a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the original price of the item. If you plan to return something e-mail me first and I'll give you an idea on when you will be able to expect the refund. Items may not be returned if they have been used. Items which have been used and are returned will not receive a refund.
SCA Legality
Items stated as being SCA legal meet or exceed SCA minimum requirements. However local rules may be more strict then the general SCA amour requirements. If you are unsure about the rules in your area consult your local marshal for advice before you order.
Custom orders
In order to bring you better prices and allow a no deposit format I have a standard set of sizes. If you would like to order something not on my site please contact me and I will consider it and give you an idea on price and turnaround. There will still be no deposit but in order to maintain this I must stick to my sizing and limit the custom work I do. If you ask for something custom and I agree it will become one of my regular products which allows me to absorb the cost of patterning into a larger number of pieces and keep prices down.
Shipping
Shipping rates are for Canada Post Surface within North America. This usually takes about 2 weeks to arrive sometimes 3 weeks. Faster methods and shipping outside North America are available e-mail me for a quote. Shipping will be once a week. For rush orders I will ship the day after payment has been received although there will be a $10 handling surcharge. Discounted shipping rates for multiple item sales can be given when orders are placed through e-mail.
Currency
All prices are listed in US Dollars. Canadian customers may pay in Canadian dollars prices are based on current exchange rates. All other nationalities must pay in US funds.
Payment Methods
Payment must be made in the form of certified funds and must be negotiable in Canada. This includes money orders, cashiers checks, bank drafts, bank checks, etc. I also take PayPal and credit card when the shopping cart is used.
Liability
While I construct armor in a sound fashion the things you may be planning to use it for might not be exactly safe. I will not be held responsible for any injuries to yourself or damage to your armor which may be incurred while you are using your armor. Armor is sold for display purposes only although most armor is fully functional and SCA legal unless stated otherwise. Use at your own risk and don't sue me.
